Frost, who has nearly 23 years of experience in the robotics industry, will be responsible for the strategic growth and daily operations of the products team, SSCI said Wednesday.
He began his career as a software project engineer for consumer electronics firm iRobot, working on the tactical mobile robot program for the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency.
He was part of the team that developed PackBot, which was used in investigating Ground Zero following the World Trade Center attacks on Sept. 11, 2001.
In 2016, He became president of Endeavor Robotics, which delivered robots to the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps. Endeavor was bought by FLIR Systems before it was taken over by Teledyne.
