Maria Ricciardone Lee, a corporate finance executive with two decades of industry experience, has been appointed to succeed Greg Gardner as vice president of investor relations at Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT).
She will assume the position on Oct. 17 while Gardner will stay at Lockheed until he retires on Dec. 31 after a 37-year career, the company said Monday.
Lee will be responsible for overseeing the Bethesda, Maryland-based contractor’s overall financial planning, forecasting and analysis function and managing the financial performance of its largest business unit.
The incoming Lockheed executive most recently served as VP of FP&A and global components at Arrow Electronics.
Her prior experience includes finance leadership positions at United Technologies Corp. and Hubbell Incorporated.
Earlier in her career, Lee served as a telecommunications consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH).
