Tribe-Owned Command Holdings Buys Management Consultancy WWC Global

Command Holdings, the non-gaming investment arm of the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation, has acquired WWC Global, a woman-owned consulting services provider to the federal government sector.

WWC Global principals Lauren Weiner, Donna Huneycutt and Heidi Snell will serve on the tribally owned holding company’s executive team as a result of the acquisition, the management consultancy said Thursday.

“This transition enables us to continue to put good government into practice with the same degree of excellent client service, product delivery, and communication levels,” said Weiner.

WWC Global —  which generates nearly $100 million in annual sales and employs 350 workers – provides support to federal clients such as the departments of Defense, State and Homeland Security as well as the U.S. Agency for International Development.

Progress Partners served as the exclusive financial adviser to WWC Global on the sale transaction.

Command Holdings offers information technology and professional support services to the government, health and technology sectors.

The WWC Global purchase is the third and largest deal for Command Holdings to date and will grow the company’s global workforce size to 400 employees.
