The Federal Aviation Administration has begun to solicit information on potential industry sources that could meet the requirements of the second iteration of the Enterprise Programs, Infrastructure and Communications Services contract.
The EPICS II contract will provide services in support of the FAA’s Communications, Infrastructure and Network Programs team responsible for implementing and managing initiatives supporting the National Airspace System and non-NAS networks and related platforms, according to a sources sought notice published Wednesday.
According to the notice, CINP supports telecommunications infrastructure management, air and ground voice communications, FAA voice switches and recorders, information management and cloud integration services.
The CINP team will require acquisition lifecycle and systems engineering support services, including program implementation, in-service management, business and financial management, architecture assessment, development of business cases, support of integration testing, preparation of system security authorization packages and generation of telecommunications cost estimates.
