Northrop, Owl Cyber Defense Secure Spots on $249M MDA Information Assurance Support IDIQ

The Missile Defense Agency has awarded Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) and Owl Cyber Defense Solutions positions on a potential five-year, $249.1 million contract to provide development, testing and implementation support for the Foreign Military Sales Cross Domain Solutions program.

FMS CDS is an information assurance method that seeks to deliver the capability to automatically or manually transfer or access data between two or more different security domains, the Department of Defense said Thursday.

MDA is the contracting activity and has secured FMS CDS cases with Morocco and Qatar for a cross domain platform.

The agency launched a competitive procurement process for the multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract and will obligate $10,000 on two delivery orders using FMS funds to meet the IDIQ contract’s minimum order requirement.

Work on the firm-fixed price, cost-reimbursement IDIQ contract will run through June 2, 2027.
