Ardent said Wednesday it named Joshua Kolchins as VP for homeland security and he will manage Department of Homeland Security programs covering the Coast Guard, Customs and Border Protection and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency.
Kolchins previously held business development roles at CSRA, Exelis and General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems.
Josh Barr, a principal of Deep Water Point, will oversee Ardent’s federal health portfolio consisting of the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the Department of Health and Human Services.
He most recently served as president of management consultancy The Thought Leadership Group and previously worked at Aurotech and Synectics for Management Decisions Inc.
Steve Smagin, a three-decade federal market veteran, will focus on helping Ardent grow its work with the General Services Administration and the Department of Commerce in his role as VP for the federal civilian business.
