Andrew Boyd, a business development leader in the GovCon industry, has joined S2 Analytical Solutions, as president and chief operations officer.
S2 CEO Steve Bailey said in a statement published Monday Boyd’s experience in the defense and federal market will be key as he leads the development and implementation of the company’s growth strategy.
Boyd will help further expand the company’s capabilities across defense and intelligence communities and will bring to the role his experience in establishing technical and management teams, integrating platforms, improving efficiencies and growing businesses.
He most recently served as CEO of IDEMIA’s national security solutions business. He held leadership positions at McIntire Solutions, Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC), Unisys (NYSE: UIS), TASC and Xcelerate Solutions. Prior to joining the private sector in 2000, he served as a U.S. Air Force officer.
