Executive Spotlight With CACI Chairman Mike Daniels Highlights Boy Scouts of America’s 24th Annual Good Scout Technology Award Luncheon

ExecutiveBiz spoke with Mike Daniels, chairman of CACI International (NYSE: CACI) and honorary chair of the Boy Scouts of America’s Good Scout Technology Luncheon, in its most recent Executive Spotlight interview published Tuesday. The executive talked about the scouting organization’s impact during the pandemic, the Good Scout Technology Award’s history and the Wednesday luncheon that will see Nazzic Keene, CEO of Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC), being presented with this year’s award.

Here’s an excerpt from the interview with Daniels:

“I think that we’ve learned how scouting continues to be one of the only activities for our youth outside of the school system where it doesn’t matter where you live in the Greater Washington region. You meet other people who come from a variety of different backgrounds and the goal is to understand and learn how to develop leadership and other training skills.

To us, it has been more important and a lot of research shows these activities are vital for the physical and mental health of our youth, especially during the pandemic.”
