Unison Adds Cost Engineering Platform Through Price Systems Acquisition; Reid Jackson Quoted

Contract and program management software provider Unison has acquired Price Systems, which offers analytics technology designed to help public and private sector customers manage project costs.

The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed and Dulles, Virginia-based Unison said Wednesday the combined entity aims to market software platforms for use by government contracting and acquisition professionals.

Price Systems built its model-based cost engineering tool to support governmental clients and their industry partners in estimation, scheduling and risk management functions.

Unison noted its cloud and on-premise enterprise software products support work by federal contractors, cabinet-level agencies and defense organizations.

“Our customers’ mission-critical programs continue to grow more complex,” said Unison CEO Reid Jackson, adding that Price Systems brings in data-driven technology to help clients manage potential risks to complex missions.
