Parsons Reports $250M in DoD ‘Other Transaction’ Awards for 2020; Carey Smith Quoted

Parsons (NYSE: PSN) has booked other transaction agreements worth more than $200M combined this year to support military technology research and development efforts at the Department of Defense.

The company said Monday the OTAs encompass the areas of directed energy, sensors, radars, joint command and control, hypersonics, threat simulation, cyber and artificial intelligence.

Carey Smith, president and chief operating officer at Parsons and a two-time Wash100 Award recipient, said the company works to accelerate the delivery of operational systems intended to help military personnel defend against threats.

The Centreville, Virginia-based tech contractor reported more than $450M in OTAs since 2018.
