Kevin Phillips, president and CEO of ManTech International (Nasdaq: MANT) and a 2020 Wash100 award winner, has been elected chairman of the company’s board of directors.

He will succeed George Pedersen, the company’s co-founder who will continue to serve on the board as chairman emeritus, ManTech said Thursday.

“I look forward to continue serving the company as a member of the Board, and I have full confidence in Kevin and the leadership team to drive ManTech’s continued growth,” Pedersen said.

He is a member of the board and executive committee of the Professional Services Administration and the Aerospace Industries Association.
