Michael Nagata
Michael Nagata, a retired U.S. Army lieutenant general, has been named a senior vice president and corporate strategic adviser at CACI International (NYSE: CACI).
He has over 30 years of defense, intelligence and diplomatic service experience to his new position and will be responsible for helping build up CACI’s national security market presence, the company said Monday.
Nagata previously directed the strategic and operational planning directorate at the National Counterterrorism Center, commanded the Special Operations Command Central and served as deputy director for special operations and counterterrorism at the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
John Mengucci, president and CEO of CACI, said Nagata brings combat and policy expertise as the company aims to address customers' national security requirements.
Nagata was commissioned as an Army infantry officer in 1982 and retired with the rank of lieutenant general. He also held various leadership positions across at the Department of Defense during his military career.
