DoD Announces 10 Small Biz Awardees on Potential $28B R&D Support IDIQ

Ten companies have won positions on the partial small business set-aside portion of a potential nine-year, $28B contract to provide research and development support services for the Defense Department.

The contractors may compete for up to $15M worth of task orders under Pool 2 of the Defense Technical Information Center’s Information Analysis Center Multiple-Award Contract, DoD said Thursday.

The awardees are:

  • Agile Innovative Solutions JV
  • Barbaricum
  • BRTRC Federal Solutions
  • Data Systems Analysis
  • Delta Constellation Group
  • Integrity Applications
  • Naval Systems
  • Sonalysts
  • Systems Planning and Analysis-Envisioneering joint venture
  • Varen Technologies

Work will occur at various government facilities through Sept. 29, 2027.

The Air Force Installation Contracting Agency will obligate at the time of award $36K in fiscal years 2018 and 2019 R&D funds as a minimum-order guarantee.

DoD picked 15 companies for the Pool 1 unrestricted full-and-open track of the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract in August and selected three nonprofit organizations for the chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear defense laboratories pool a month earlier.
