GTL Names Former Sotera Chief Deb Alderson as CEO

Deb Alderson, formerly CEO of Sotera Defense Solutions, has been appointed to a similar role at Reston, Virginia-based correctional technology provider GTL effective April 2.

Alderson will succeed retiring CEO Brian Oliver, who will stay GLT in an advisory role, the company said Wednesday

She brings previous leadership experience at government contracting firms SRA International, Science Applications International Corporation (NYSE: SAIC) and Anteon to her new position.

Alderson led Herndon, Va.-based Sotera from July 2013 through its March 2017 acquisition by KeyW (Nasdaq: KEYW).

GTL offers correctional technology, education and government payment services in the North American market.
