Six companies have wonÂ positions on a potential five-year, $48 million contract toÂ provide temporary physician staffing services to the U.S. Army.
The Army Medical Command received 14Â bids for the sharedÂ firm-fixed-price contract via an online solicitation and will provide funds and performanceÂ locations upon the issuance of each order,Â the Defense Department said Wednesday.
Contractors will recruit physicians from various medical specialties to provide healthcare services at the Army’sÂ medical treatment facilities withinÂ the continental U.S.
WorkÂ will run through Jan. 31, 2022, according to DoD.
The awardees are:
- Caduceus Healthcare
- Consillium Staffing
- Ghost and Loyal Source joint venture
- Matrix Providers
- TistCorp II
TheÂ Army Medical Command, also known asÂ Army Medicine, offers sustained health services and conducts research to help increase warfighters’Â readiness and conserve their combatÂ strength.
