Rohit Ghai, president of Dell EMCâs enterprise content division, has been appointed president of Dell Technologiesâ (NYSE: DVMT)Â RSAÂ subsidiary.
He will succeed Amit Yoran, who was named chairman and CEO of Tenable Network Security in December.
Ghai will oversee the delivery of RSAâs security platforms that work to help customers manage business risks, RSA said Monday.
He previously served as chief operating officer and senior vice president of products and solutions within Dell EMC’s information intelligence group.
Prior to Dell EMC, he spent four years at Symantec (Nasdaq: SYMC) where he served as VP and general manager as well as VP of engineering at the companyâs Storage Foundation.
Ghai also served as chief technology officer at CA Technologiesâ (Nasdaq: CA) Indian arm and VP and GM of the firmâs BrighStor business unit.
He also worked for three years at Cheyenne Software as development manager and software engineer.
Dell EMC and RSA are among the businesses that operate under the Dell Technologies brand, which was formed after Dell and EMC completed their $67 billion cash-and-stock merger in September.
