NASA has issued a request for proposals for the second iteration of the Systems Engineering Advanced Services contract with a maximum ordering value of $298 million.
SEAS II will involve engineering mission and instrument systems for various NASA facilities such as the Goddard Space Flight Center in Maryland and the Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia, the agency said in the solicitation notice posted Monday.
Interested parties can submit proposals through March 11.
Alcyon Technical Services Joint Venture won the five-year, $188 million SEAS small business set-aside contract originally awarded in September 2015.
The incumbent's support work covered the formulation and implementation of Goddard's flight and ground systems such as scientific instruments, suborbital craft, unmanned aerial vehicles, spacecraft, propulsion systems and payloads for the International Space Station.
The mission engineering and system analysis division and related organizations within the agency's engineering and technology directorate could receive services through the upcoming contract.
