Data analytics and management company Visionist has received a prime contract worth $190 million to help the Department of Defense manage computer network operations.
Visionist said Monday it will assemble an initial group of 60 professionals and services to provide a range of technical support services to DOD through the five-year, sole-source award.
The team will engineer systems, develop software and perform data science, communications and life cycle support work to help the department address network mission requirements.
Chris Berry, president of Visionist, said the company combines software and data science platforms in efforts to accelerate intelligence analysis.
Founded in 2010, Visionist delivers analytic technologies to help customers analyze, visualize and act on their large data sets for cyber, signals and open-source intelligence applications.
