The acquired entity will operate as Frontgrade Aethercomm and be led by Todd Thornton as general manager, the parent company said Monday.
Aethercomm, which Thornton established in 1999, makes high-power RF amplifier modules and switches designed to work with military vehicles.
Veritas Capital completed its purchase of CAES Space Systems in January and rebranded the latter as Frontgrade Technologies.
KippsDeSanto served as Aethercomm’s exclusive financial adviser on the transaction while Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher acted as legal counsel to Veritas Capital and Frontgrade.
