The U.S. Army has awarded Vectrus(NYSE: VEC) a potential two-year, $173.8 million contract modification to support the U.S. Central Command’s enterprise network infrastructure.
Vectrus’ systems business will perform work at various CENTCOM locations in Afghanistan, Bahrain, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates, the Defense Departmentsaid Thursday.
DoD expects the company to finish contract work by May 31, 2018.
The Army Contracting Command has obligated the full amount of the modification from the service branch’s fiscal 2016 operations and maintenance funds at the time of award.
Vectrus will also provide security and operations support services to the Army’s base in Kuwait under a separate $329 million contract modification awarded in late March.
