The Department of Veterans Affairs has awarded Accenture Federal Services a $7.7 million delivery order to provide systems integration support for the agency’s Electronic Health Record Modernization Integration Office.
The VA’s Technology Acquisition Center made the award under the General Services Administration’s Alliant II governmentwide acquisition contract, according to the Federal Procurement Data System.
Under the task order, Accenture will assist the VA in deploying its federal EHR system, developed by Oracle Health Government Services. According to a draft performance work statement posted on SAM.gov, the work aims to strengthen interoperability, ensure consistent performance and improve user adoption across the department’s health network.

What Will Accenture’s Work Involve?
Accenture will deliver program management, technical and functional support, and data integration services across 164 EHR site migrations through 2031. The company will also support risk management, configuration control and quality assurance measures that align modernization efforts with clinical and governance objectives. Other responsibilities include maintaining an integrated master schedule, supporting change management and training, and coordinating with the VA and Department of Defense to enhance interoperability within the federal EHR ecosystem.
The task order includes a six-month base period and four one-year and one six-month option periods. Work will take place at government and contractor facilities, including VA medical centers and clinics, and EHR program offices in Washington, D.C., and Kansas City, Missouri.
