The U.S. Navy has awarded United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX) a potential four-year, $325.2M contract to provide aircraft maintenance equipment and depot activation planning support for the F-35 program.
UTC will also deliver two mockup F135 engines and four modules to support F-35 testing activities as part of the cost-plus-incentive-fee and fixed-price-incentive-firm contract, the Department of Defense said Friday.
Naval Air Systems Command will obligate at the time of award $309.4M in fiscal 2019 funds from the Air Force, Marine Corps and Navy as well as non-DoD and foreign military sales customers.
The Pentagon expects contract work to conclude by January 2023.
