Zero Point has secured a potential six-year, $49 million contract to support the U.S. Special Operations Command‘s training programs related to explosive ordnance disposal, radio-controlled improvised explosive devices and electronic countermeasures.
The company will also help USSOCOM analyze and engineer counterproliferation systems as well as perform telecommunications analysis and strategic project and technical support under the contract, the Defense Departmentsaid Monday.
Work will primarily occur at the Aberdeen Training Facility in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, and is scheduled to finish by June 27, 2022.
SOCOM is obligating $2.7 million at the time of award from its fiscal 2016 operations and maintenance funds, DoD noted.
