The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has unveiled a list of 24 prime contractors that are eligible to compete for a potential 10-year, $2B contract covering software development and integration support for commercial off-the-shelf products, database applications, customized software apps and other information technology platforms.
A notice posted Friday says the multiple-award Business Oriented Software Solutions indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract encompasses 10 service areas that include program management, system and software development, architecture and design, coding and user experience design.
USPTO expects to award the IDIQ on Dec. 30. The shortlisted offerors that will vie for the BOSS program through the agency's alternative competition method are:
