Couch retired from the military service in September 2020 and most recently worked at upskilling platform developer Experfy as chief government operations officer, SST said Monday.
His military career has included time as chief of staff to the deputy commanding general for U.S. Central Command, senior vice president and CEO of the Marine Wing Headquarters Squadron 2 and chief instructor pilot and chief safety officer at the Office of the Commandant of the Marine Corps, according to his LinkedIn profile.
Couch also conducted studies on the impact of artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies on the future of the joint force as a senior fellow at the Atlantic Council.
Founded in 2019, SST uses AI and supervised machine learning in efforts to develop cyber-enabled intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance platforms for U.S. government and NATO member customers.
