USCIS Eyes Follow-On Contract for Records Operations Support Services

The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services within the Department of Homeland Security intends to launch a competition for a follow-on contract to provide records operations support services for the National Records Center in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, and the file storage facility in Harrisonburg, Virginia.

According to a notice published Friday on the Acquisition Planning Forecast System, USCIS expects the recompete contract to have a ceiling value of over $100 million and anticipates the release of a solicitation by April 1, 2025.

The vendor will provide records management and maintenance services for the NRC, extension site and sub-office in Harrisonburg in support of the USCIS Records Program.

The contract’s primary functions include ensuring compliance with federally mandated directives, maintaining personnel security clearance levels and ensuring proper security of security-sensitive materials and all files.

USCIS intends to award the follow-on contract by the third quarter of fiscal year 2026 and expects contract work to conclude by the end of September 2031.

The contract will be competed as a total small business set-aside program.
