Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) and the Riverside Research Institute have won a pair of indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contracts worth a combined $48 million to support the U.S. Air Force‘s mission systems open architecture science and technology program.
The Defense Departmentsaid Thursday task orders under the program encompass applied and advanced research and development services as well as component development and prototypes that will work to help the Air Force update and expand emerging open architecture standards for weapon systems.
The Air Force Research Laboratory will obligate $500, 000 to cover the initial task order for each contractor.
Work will occur at Wright-Patterson AF Base in Ohio through Nov. 6, 2023.
