The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Huntsville Center has posted a draft request for proposals for a potential 10-year, $960 million small business set-aside contract vehicle for environmental and munition response-restricted services.
The Army Ordinance and Explosives Directorate requires support to locate, identify, recover, evaluate, transport and dispose of munitions and explosives of concern, as well as hazardous, toxic and radioactive waste at defense and government sites nationwide, according to a notice posted Friday on SAM.gov.
Work will be performed at facilities across the U.S., including Alaska and Hawaii; the U.S. territories; outlying areas; and territorial waters.
The multiple-award task order contract has a two-year base period along with eight option years.
Interested parties have until July 1 to respond to the draft solicitation.
