The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is soliciting letters of interest from companies that can build a cybersecurity operations facility at Fort Meade in Maryland.
The service branch on Tuesday issued a sources sought notice for a potential 36-month design-bid-build contract valued between $100 million and $250 million.
The facility, which will house the cyber defense operations of the U.S. Marine Corps, is envisioned as a three-story building with office space for training as well as the joint staff and other executives.
The awardees will perform construction ranging from fit-out design to infrastructure for information technology and environmental protection.
Small and disadvantaged businesses are welcome to submit their proposals. The service branch will end the sources sought phase on March 8.
