Unisys Vet PV Puvvada Joins NetImpact Strategies as CEO

PV Puvvada, a more than three-decade Unisys (NYSE: UIS) veteran and six-time Wash100 winner, has been appointed to succeed Kavita Kalatur as CEO of information technology and management consulting company NetImpact Strategies.

Puvvada will aim to drive NetImpact’s digital transformation strategy with his operational leadership experience in supporting public and private sector customers, the company said Tuesday.

He led the Unisys Federal business as full-time president from February 2015 through March 2020, when the unit was acquired by Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC).

Kalatur, who founded Netmpact in 2009, said he has known Puvvada for a decade and sought the latter’s advice as the company pursued growth efforts.

“This gave me chance to not only follow his accomplishments, but also see firsthand his leadership style and core values which are very in line with ours,” Kalatur added.

Puvvada previously served as chairman of the Industry Advisory Council and the board of directors for the Professional Services Counci l.
