United Launch Alliance has received a $270.4 million contract modification from the U.S. Air Force to provide launch vehicle production services.
The Defense Departmentsaid Friday the modification covers support for the configuration and transportation of a Delta IV Heavy rocket.
The award also adds a prepriced contract line item for the Delta IV Heavy LV configuration, DoD noted.
Work will occur in Centennial, Colorado; Decatur, Alabama; and Vandenberg Air Force Base, California through Dec. 29, 2020.
The Space and Missile Systems Center will obligate $54.6 million at the time of award from the Air Force’s fiscal 2017 missile procurement funds.
