Tyler Evans
Tyler Evans, a more than 25-year aerospace and defense industry veteran, has been promoted to senior vice president of the defense business at Aerojet Rocketdyne.
He will oversee a portfolio of missile and air defense, tactical and strategic systems and programs intended to support U.S. ballistic missile defense efforts, Aerojet Rocketdyne said Monday.
Evans will work at the firm’s defense unit headquarters in Huntsville, Ala. and will coordinate communications between the business and its defense customers.
He joined Aerojet Rocketdyne in 2014 as vice president of the rocket shop and previously held a more than two-decade career at Pratt & Whitney. He managed the delivery of the latter’s undersea warfare and next-generation propulsion systems for more than five years prior to his current capacity.
