Her appointment comes amid the increasing adoption of Kubernetes and containerization in the federal market and RGS’ recent contract wins, including a contract with the U.S. Air Force’s Kessel Run for Kubernetes services in support of the digital transformation efforts of the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center’s digital directorate, the company said Monday.
RGS CEO Lynne Chamberlain said Fitzmaurice’s thought leadership and experience in the federal community will enable the company to accelerate growth while supporting customers.
Fitzmaurice moved to RGS from UiPath, where she served as regional VP of federal civilian agencies and national security programs and worked with government leaders to develop their strategy to facilitate the enterprisewide adoption of automation platforms.
She served as director of national security programs, law enforcement and justice at Red Hat and advised senior government executives on cloud migration and other IT modernization projects.
She is also a subject matter expert on secure supply chain operations supporting defense and intelligence community clients.
