Trend Micro has formed a new business unit with the goal of helping federal government clients protect data using threat defense methods.
The U.S. federal business unit will be based in Washington, D.C., and will help customers secure digital transformation initiatives, implement zero trust and facilitate cloud migration efforts through its team of public sector cybersecurity veterans, Trend Micro said Wednesday.
Executives that will serve in the company’s newly created unit are David Chow, chief technology strategy officer; Ed Cabrera, chief cybersecurity officer; and Chris Radosh, vice president and general manager of the federal business unit.
Chow is former chief information officer and chief information security officer within the federal government, while Cabrera is former CISO of the U.S. Secret Service. Radosh has over 25 years of experience overseeing tech businesses and forming cyber partnerships with federal agencies.
Some of the U.S. federal agencies using Trend Micro’s security platforms and services are the departments of Homeland Security, Veterans Affairs, Energy and Justice, Federal Reserve Bank and several military branches.
