Travis Szabo Joins Cognosante as Growth VP for Military Health System Business

Travis Szabo, a former executive at Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC), has been appointed vice president of growth for the military health system business at Cognosante, FedHealthIT reported Tuesday.

Szabo brings more than a decade of industry experience to Cognosante – a provider of health information technology, business process outsourcing and consulting services to the government sector.

At SAIC, he served as a vice president in charge of defense health and logistics IT portfolio and also managed the company's Vehicle and Cargo Inspection System programs in the Middle East.

His career has also included time as senior VP of growth at Unissant and a director at Octo Consulting Group.
