U.S. Transportation Command has awarded 20 companies spots on a potential $873 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to provide the Department of Defense with domestic air cargo and passenger charter services.
The contractors will perform one-time domestic passenger and cargo airlift services at military and commercial airfields within the continental U.S., Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Mexico and Canada, DOD said Monday.

The companies will provide personnel, equipment, materials, supervision and other items and services necessary to carry out air charter transportation services under the IDIQ.
Work will occur from April 1, 2024, to Sept. 30, 2028.
Transcom will finance the contract using transportation working capital funds for fiscal years 2024 to 2028.
