Tom Bossert
Tom Bossert, former White House homeland security and counterterrorism adviser, has been named chief strategy officer at Bowie, Md.-based Trinity Cyber.
He is a senior fellow at the Atlantic Council and the national security analyst for ABC News, the company said Tuesday.
As a former homeland security adviser to two U.S. presidents, Bossert helped oversee domestic and transactional security issues and advised the president on cybersecurity, global health security policy and counterterrorism. He also founded and led a management consulting firm.
In addition to Bossert™s appointment, the company announced that it secured $23M in a funding round led by Intel Capital.
Trinity Cyber is a startup focused on developing a technology platform – Proactive Threat Interference – designed to intercept external threats and prevent cyber attacks before reaching internal networks.
