Tim Denning, director of IDIQ management at STGsince 2014, has been named vice president for business development at the Reston, Virginia-based information technology services contractor.
Denning will be responsible for helping develop and implement the company’s organic growth strategies and will lead its business development and capture functions in his new position, STG said Wednesday.
“His market insights and experience, built over a decade of driving strong growth within established enterprises, are expected to help expand STGs strategic opportunities, build new partnerships and achieve excellence in capture planning and execution, “ noted STG President Paul Fernandes.
Denning has managed the company’s portfolio of contracts with multiple federal civilian and defense agencies for offensive and defensive cyber, information technology operations and application development services over the past two years.
Before he joined STG in 2014, he served as senior director of business development at DSA Inc. and held various positions at L-3 Communications. (NYSE: LLL).
