Information technology industry veterans Troy Grubbs and Tim Angelos have joined Hitachi Vantara’s federal subsidiary as sales directors.
Hitachi said Tuesday both appointees will work to increase the visibility of its technology and service offerings in the federal IT market as well as expand public-sector customer and partner relationships.
“With decades of experience in sales, business development and operations, theirs is exactly the dynamic needed to identify new opportunities, generate growth and tackle the emerging needs and challenges of our end-users,” said Jimmie Adkins, vice president of sales at Hitachi Vantara Federal.
Angelos brings over 25 years of industry experience to his new role. He will lead the delivery of the company’s data-based platforms to support digital transformation efforts of various government clients such as the Department of Defense, the intelligence community and the FBI.
Grubbs brings to his new role more than two decades of industry experience, including over six years in leadership roles at HPE. He previously held a sales director post at Washington, D.C.-based IT firm F5 Networks and worked at NetApp earlier in his career.
