Steris, Karl Storz Endoscopy-America and American Medical Depot have received contract modifications worth $1.06B combined from the Defense Logistics Agency to provide integrated operating room components for military services and federal civilian agencies.
The modifications exercise the third option year under previously awarded fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contracts with a five-year base term and three option years, the Department of Defense said Monday.
DLA awarded Steris a potential $393.8M modification, while Karl Storz and American Medical Depot respectively received $371.8M and $294.5M in contract modifications.
The contractors will also provide turnkey installation support, maintenance services, training, upgrades and system options and accessories and perform work at their respective sites in Ohio, California and Florida through April 2020.
