Capgemini has named Thierry Delaporte and Aiman Ezzat as chief operating officers and executive corporate officers of the information technology and consulting firm.
The France-based company said Thursday its ethics and governance committee recommended both appointments that are set to take effect Jan. 1, 2018.

Delaporte will focus on group transformation while Ezzat will primarily oversee group performance.
Delaporte is currently a member of Capgemini’s group executive board and currently leads the financial services strategic business unit and operations in Latin America.
He joined Capgemini in 1995 as group internal auditor within the its Sogeti subsidiary and later elevated to leadership roles such as COO and head of sales for the application services arm; chief financial officer of the global outsourcing business unit; CFO for North America; CFO for Southern Europe; and CFO and COO for Australia and New Zealand.
Aiman Ezzat
Ezzat has served as Capgemini CFO since December 2012 and is also a member of the group executive board.
He previously worked as global head of the company’s financial services global business unit as well as deputy director of strategy.
Ezzat was part of the acquisition and integration team of IT services firm Kanbay, which Capgemini acquired in 2006.
He previously served as managing director of international operations at business and technology consultancy Headstrong and led the oil, gas and chemicals practice of Gemini Consulting — the legacy Capgemini’s consulting arm now known as Capgemini Consulting.
