Tessa Baerlocher, most recently deputy general manager of the space superiority business group at LinQuest, has assumed the role of vice president and business lead of the space systems technology developer’s TMC Design subsidiary.
In this capacity, she will oversee growth initiatives within TMC and advance modernization in the areas of digital signal processing, electromagnetics and radio frequency communications in support of warfighters, LinQuest said Tuesday.
In 2021, LinQuest acquired TMC Design as part of efforts to provide mission-essential capabilities meant to help customers address national security threats.
Greg Young, president and CEO of LinQuest, said Baerlocher will help execute future strategy and build up partnerships with government customers as head of the company’s TMC line of business.
Baerlocher’s industry career included time as chief engineer of the Army platforms department at Mitre and director of the space superiority business area at L3Harris Technologies (NYSE: LHX).
She also served in the U.S. Air Force as a program manager for satellite and airborne communications systems.
Baerlocher stated that TMC Design has been delivering electronic warfare and test range capabilities to Department of Defense customers and that she looks forward to working with the team in support of warfighters.
