Hillary Ashton, chief product officer of Teradata (NYSE: TDC), has been appointed to serve on the board of CentralSquare as an independent director, responsible for providing cloud product insight to support the public sector technology company’s growth strategy.
CentralSquare said Thursday Ashton, as Teradata CPO, drives the multicloud data platform provider’s cloud-first portfolio while overseeing the engineering, management and quality aspects of its products organization.
David Zolet, CEO of CentralSquare and a four-time Wash100 Award winner, considers Ashton as a leader in customer-focused innovation with her knowledge in creating and delivering user experiences.
“Hillary brings impressive product leadership and cloud expertise to CentralSquare… Her depth of experience will be valuable to CentralSquare as we realize our mission to build safer, smarter, connected communities,” he said.
Prior to joining Teradata, Ashton worked at PTC (Nasdaq: PTC) as executive vice president and general manager of the software company’s augmented reality business. She provided marketing and sales insight, business and financial expertise as well as executive management in support of the unit and its product lines.
Ashton’s career also includes time serving at Manthan as senior VP of analytics SaaS solutions and at SAS as director of customer intelligence.
