Former HPE, RingCentral Exec Tarek Robbiati Joins Pure Storage as Chief Financial Officer

Tarek Robbiati, a technology industry expert with over 25 years of leadership experience, has joined Pure Storage as chief financial officer.

He will oversee global finance activities, including procurements and investor relations, the company said Tuesday. He will report to Charles Giancarlo, chairman and CEO of Pure Storage.

Robbiati succeeds Kevan Krysler, who has stepped down from the CFO role after over five years of service at Pure Storage.

Who is Tarek Robbiati?

Robbiati previously served as CEO of RingCentral, a provider of artificial intelligence-driven cloud capabilities. Before RingCentral, he was at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where he also held the CFO role for five years.

The technology industry veteran was appointed to senior leadership positions at Sprint, Flexigroup, Telstra, Hong Kong CSL Limited, Atradius, Orange and Legman Brothers. He began his career as an associate partner at Accenture, where he worked for 10 years.

“Tarek’s experience across compute, networking and storage make him an ideal choice to help lead Pure Storage’s evolution as we help customers manage their ever expanding data environment,” commented Giancarlo. “Tarek has a proven history of driving enterprise transformation, seamlessly blending inside-out operational insight with outside-in market perspective.”

“Enterprise transformation is about growth and the numbers show that we have a strong trajectory for scaling up the business ahead,” Robbiati said, “I look forward to being part of the team building out new capabilities for our customers.”
