Software engineering company Tangram Flex has received a potential five-year, $95M contract to help the U.S. Air Force develop and deploy a platform based on the company’s system integration technology.
The Dayton, Ohio-based firm will support the Air Force's research, development, test and integration activities in an effort to update and modernize the company’s software development platform, the Department of Defense said Monday.
Contract work also covers operational assessments and transition support for the Tangram platform, which works to handle software componentization and simplify interface maintenance.
Tangram's platform is also designed for other hardware and software engineering procedures including code generation, system integration, component management and integrated assurance.
The Air Force Research Laboratory received 23 bids for the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract and will obligate $243K in fiscal 2020 research, development, test and evaluation funds at the time of award.
Tangram will perform contract services in Dayton through Aug. 10, 2025.
