He will supervise a team that supports electrical systems, kinetics and industrial technology research projects and will explore potential additional technical areas the division can focus on, SwRI said Monday.

In his previous capacity, Keys oversaw the development, assembly and delivery of electromechanical systems and pursued projects related to electronic and physics-based communications and independent technology verification and validation techniques for government and commercial customers.
