Steve Morriss, formerly president and chief executive of AECOM‘s (NYSE: ACM) Europe, the Middle East, India and Africa business operations, has been named president of the company’s design and consulting services group in the Americas.
He succeeds Fred Werner, who is now president of major pursuits, and oversees a more than 20,000-employee organization that offers technical services to various sectors across the Americas, AECOM said Monday.
Morriss joined the company in 2011 after he previously served as managing director of Mouchel‘s government and business services unit.
His 28-year industry career has also included senior executive positions at Serco and WS Atkins.
He also served at the Royal Engineers and the Royal Marines Reserve.
