He spent 13 years as professor of neurological surgery at Northwestern University, where he also served as acting chair of neurological surgery at the university’s Feinberg School of Medicine.
Amida works to provide health care institutions, government and international development agencies with data security, information management and data interoperability platforms such as Data Reconciliation Engine and Orange Rx.
The Data Reconciliation Engine is an open-source tool that works to extract medical data from various sources, while Orange Rx is a mobile application designed to help users manage medications and integrate data with electronic health record systems.
