The U.S. Army has awarded Sotera Defense Solutions a potential five-year, $89 million task order to provide information operations support for the Intelligence and Security Command and 1st Information Operations Command.
The service branch awarded the task order through the Global Intelligence Support Services indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, Sotera said Wednesday.
Sotera is one of the 11 contractors selected for the full-and-open portion of the $7.2 billion GISS vehicle.
Work under the new task order covers planning, execution and assessment support, intelligence analysis for supported commands and teams, IO training assistance, cyberspace opposing forces, operations security and mission readiness support.
Sotera Defense Solutions is a national security technology firm that provides platforms and services to the Defense Department, Department of Homeland Security and the intelligence community.
