Scope of Title III Electronic Surveillance Program Contract
The Reston, Virginia-based defense and government services company said Thursday it will deliver foreign language support to 241 offices nationwide. The contract covers monitoring, transcription, translation, interpretation, validation and analysis of lawfully intercepted communications.
SOSi’s Previous Title III Program Contracts
The agreement expands the partnership between SOSi and the DEA. The company secured its first federal contract with the agency’s New York Field Office in 1989. It received a similar contract in 2021 to support the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. And in 2023, the company landed a contract with the DEA to deliver language analytic support to its Special Operations Division.
Remarks by SOSi’s Julian Setian
“We’re excited to continue our 35-year legacy of supporting the DEA’s mission through this nationwide Title III language services contract. This award reflects not only our deep-rooted partnership with the DEA but also our unmatched expertise in managing highly sensitive lawful intercept programs for the U.S. law enforcement community,” said SOSi CEO Julian Setian.
“Over the next year, we plan to introduce our proprietary Pandion system to the federal law enforcement agencies, which leverages AI to process and analyze intercepted communications and exemplifies our commitment to innovation in support of national security and law enforcement operations,” continued the four-time Wash100 Award winner.
